Google Ads bot: build and launch a local search campaign

Tell one bot what you sell and where. It researches keywords, writes responsive search ads, sets the budget, bidding and negative keywords in Google Ads, builds everything paused and asks you before it can spend. Then it reports every week.

Illustration with sample data. The business, numbers and results are made up to show the flow; nothing here is a real account or customer result. 42 s, no sound.

Approvals. X posts always ask first, and so do trading orders unless you set a Binance or Polymarket bot to trade on its own within its limits. Other actions ask only when Approvals are on in Settings; on Never ask, the krypton.bot default, they run without asking.

Apps used

  • Google Ads

Finds keyword ideas and locations, creates the budget, campaign, ad group, keywords, negatives and ads paused, launches after your approval and reads the weekly numbers.

  • RoutinesBuilt in

Runs the weekly Google Ads report and a search terms check every Monday morning without you asking.

How to set it up in Krypton

  1. Connect Google Ads

In Krypton, open Integrations, pick Google Ads and sign in with the Google account that manages your ad account. Confirm the ad spend consent: your bots can create campaigns that spend from your account, and Google bills you.

  2. Hire the bot

Open Bot Marketplace and hire the Ads manager, or ask Chief in chat to create an ads bot. Give it the Google Ads app.

  3. Send the brief

Paste the prompt below and change the business, website, area, budget and click price. If you already have keywords, list them; otherwise the bot suggests them from your site.

  4. Check the plan

The bot checks each step with Google first, builds everything paused and shows you the keywords, negatives, every headline and description, and the final URL.

  5. Approve the launch

The bot enables the campaign only when you say launch. With Approvals on in Settings you also get an approval card: nothing spends until you tap Allow once, and you can deny it. Ask for changes in chat first if you want, such as a lower budget or different headlines.

  6. Get the weekly report

The bot saves a Monday routine that compares this week with last week. Its prompt also asks for a search terms check, which proposes new negative keywords; the bot adds them only after you approve the list in chat.

Set up a Google Search campaign for Fabrikam Plumbing (fabrikam-plumbing.example). Find keywords for emergency plumbing, leak repair and blocked drains within 15 km of our shop, write the ads, $40 a day with a $4 max click price, block job seekers and DIY searches. Ask me before it goes live, then send me a report every Monday.

What the bot does

  • Reads your Google Ads accounts and their currency, then finds the location ids for your area.
  • Gets keyword ideas with search volume and competition from your seed terms and website.
  • Writes a responsive search ad: up to 15 headlines of 30 characters and 4 descriptions of 90, plus a call asset.
  • Sets the daily budget and Maximize clicks bidding with your max click price, and adds negative keywords for searches you never want to pay for.
  • Checks every step with validate_only first, then creates the budget, campaign, ad group, keywords and ad, all paused.
  • Enables the campaign only after you say launch, then saves a Monday routine for the weekly report and a search terms check.

Questions

Can the bot spend money without asking me?

The campaign, ad group and ad are created paused, and the bot's Google Ads skill enables them only when you say launch. With Approvals on in Settings, enabling them also shows an approval card you can deny. Later budget changes wait for you to confirm the exact amount in chat.

Where do the keyword ideas and volumes come from?

From Google Ads keyword ideas for your seed terms and website. In this video they are sample numbers made up to show the flow, not real search volumes.

What does the weekly report contain?

The weekly report skill gives cost, clicks, conversions, cost per conversion and return on ad spend per campaign, this week against last week, and the three campaigns that moved most. It changes nothing. In this video the routine's prompt also asks for a search terms check, which lists terms that cost money without converting and proposes them as negatives for you to approve.

Is the video a real campaign?

No. It is an illustration with sample data: Fabrikam Plumbing is fictional, and the keywords, volumes and budget are made up to show the flow.

Which plan do I need?

Ad platforms connect through Krypton Cloud. Check the Google Ads catalog page for the plans that include it.
