Delete your Krypton account
Deleting your account permanently removes your Krypton Cloud account and its personal workspace data. This cannot be undone.
You can delete your account yourself on every plan, including Free. It takes three steps, the same in the mobile app, on the web and in the desktop app, and no password is needed: we confirm it is you with a code sent to your account email.
In the mobile app
- Open Krypton Bot and sign in.
- Open Account and tap Delete account at the bottom.
- Read what gets deleted and tap Continue.
- Enter the 6-digit code we email you. It expires in 10 minutes.
- Type DELETE and tap Delete my account forever.
On the web or desktop
- Sign in at krypton.bot and open Settings, then Account.
- At the bottom, under Delete account, choose Delete account…. Want a copy first? Choose Export my data first.
- Read what gets deleted and choose Continue.
- Enter the 6-digit code we email you. It expires in 10 minutes.
- Type DELETE and choose Delete my account forever.
After five wrong codes, deletion is locked for 15 minutes. When the account is deleted you are signed out and we email you a confirmation.
By email
If you cannot sign in, email support@krypton.bot from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We confirm the request with that address and delete the account within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your account, profile and sign-in methods.
- Your personal workspaces: bots, chats, routines, files, memories, cloud computers (a dedicated server is wiped and released) and app connections (access we hold is revoked).
- Unused AI credits. They are forfeited and not refunded.
- Workspaces you share with other people stay with them; your own bots in them are deleted. If you own a shared workspace with a paid plan, that plan is cancelled for every member, and we let the other members know by email.
Your plan and payments
A paid plan is cancelled the moment your account is deleted. There are no further charges and open invoices are not collected; the rest of the current period is not refunded. You do not need to cancel the plan first.
Data is removed from the live service right away. A copy can stay in a manual database backup taken before a software update until an operator removes that backup; we normally keep only the two most recent. Billing records are kept as long as tax law requires.
Delete some data without deleting your account
You can remove single items and keep your account. Sign in to the app or krypton.bot, then:
- A chat: open the bot's menu in your bot list (right-click it on desktop) and chooseClear conversation.
- A bot: in the same menu choose Delete. PickDelete memories too to erase its memories with it.
- A file: open Artifacts and use the file's Delete button.
- A routine: open it under Routines and choose Delete.
- An app connection: open the app in settings and choose Disconnect. This deletes the tokens we store for it. You can also revoke our access in that platform's own account settings.
- A memory: in Memory, choose Forget. Forgetting hides it at once; it is erased permanently when the bot, workspace or account is deleted, or within 30 days of an email request (below).
To delete memories or any other data by email, write to support@krypton.bot from the address on your account with the subject "Privacy request" and say what to delete. Memories are erased within 30 days of the request. We answer other requests within one month (GDPR, extendable by two months) or 45 days (California). Deleted items are not restored; a copy can stay in a manual database backup until an operator removes that backup, as described above.
