Can I use my ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot or SuperGrok/X Premium subscription?
Yes, on every plan, Free included. Sign in with ChatGPT Plus/Pro, Claude Pro/Max, GitHub Copilot or SuperGrok/X Premium, paste an API key from any provider, or use a local model. Usage on your own connection has no limit from us and costs nothing extra. Your provider's own terms and limits still apply.
See all supported providersWhy are the included AI credits small?
They're starter credits, so you can try Krypton AI right away. You can run Krypton on the subscription or key you already pay for, which has no limit from us and costs nothing extra. Need more Krypton AI? Top up from $10 in Billing on any plan, Free included; top-ups don't expire while your account is active.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Choose Cancel plan in Billing in the app. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, then the account moves to Free with nothing deleted.
Do you offer refunds?
Payments aren't refundable, but you can cancel anytime and keep your plan until the period ends. Charges made in error are refunded when reported within 30 days. Consumers in the EU and UK can withdraw from a new purchase within 14 days, and other rights apply where the law gives them.
Terms, section 17: billing and refundsWhat happens if a payment fails?
Stripe retries the card, we email you and the app shows a banner asking you to update it. Pro and Max are billed at least 3 days before your dedicated computer's server renews: if the payment still fails the day before that renewal, the workspace pauses, your computer's home folder is saved as a compressed, encrypted archive and kept for 14 days, and the server is not renewed. Without a dedicated computer the workspace pauses after 7 days of retries. While paused you can pay, switch to Free or download your data; paying within the 14 days brings your computer back with its files. Chats, bots and memory are never deleted for a failed payment (memory follows Free's 90-day rule once on Free), and anything over the Free limits becomes read-only.
Should I self-host or use the cloud?
Krypton Bot is free and open source under Apache-2.0, so you can run it on your own server with your own memory service. The GitHub edition is provided as is, without support, and does not include the admin console, the MCP catalog and MCP-only plan, hosted Gmail, trading and ads gateways, Krypton AI credits or managed computers: those come only with Krypton Cloud plans and private cloud deployments. Krypton Cloud is the same app, hosted and wired for you: no servers to run, 24/7 cloud computers that sleep when idle and wake in seconds, built-in Supermemory, the MCP catalog, automatic updates and support.
What does self-learning include on each plan?
On every plan, bots save facts to memory notes on their own and, under your team rules, turn procedures that worked on real tasks into skills every bot in the workspace reuses. Pro and Max add Supermemory: recall by meaning, and an optional team memory your bots share. You can see, edit or forget memories and edit or delete skills in the app.
What counts toward storage?
One total for your account: 100 MB on Free, 80 GB on Pro and 160 GB on Max. It covers your files, your memories and the disk of your cloud computers together. Nothing is ever deleted when you reach it. New uploads and memory saves are refused, and the computer does not start, with a notice to free space or upgrade.
What happens to my storage when I downgrade?
A downgrade never deletes files. If you use more storage than the smaller plan allows, the downgrade waits until you free the difference, and the app lists your biggest items to make that quick. Extra workspaces and bots stay readable, they just stop running until you upgrade or remove them.
Is my data encrypted?
Yes, on every plan. Bot content is encrypted at rest, memory never crosses workspaces, and catalog app tokens are stored encrypted on the server. Self-hosted installs encrypt content by default too.
What counts as an MCP call?
Each tool call a bot or MCP client makes to a catalog app, such as reading a campaign report, counts as one. Calls included each month: 2,000 on MCP only, 20,000 on Pro and 20,000 on Max. Apps in the catalog's Free section run on your own computer and never count. After that, calls keep working from your AI credits at $0.90 per 1,000 calls, and the counter resets on the 1st of each month (UTC). A retried call is counted once. If the included calls are used and no credits are left, the bot tells you and chat keeps working: top up credits or upgrade to continue.
Is the MCP catalog included on the Free plan?
The hosted apps start at MCP only, with 2,000 calls a month and a kmcp_ key for Claude, Cursor or any MCP client. Pro and Max include 20,000 calls a month, and Max adds Higgsfield. Free includes Gmail with no call limit, and the apps in the catalog's Free section, such as Chrome DevTools, and your own local MCP servers run on your own computer with no limits.
