Why it feels like a teammate

Saves on its own

Tell a bot once. It saves the fact itself and brings it back weeks later, in another thread or a scheduled run.

Semantic recall

Finds memories by meaning, not keywords. Ask about "the Acme budget" and it finds "$5k a month for Acme".

Per bot or shared with the team

Each bot keeps its own memory. Switch to Shared and your bots also save to and recall from one team memory. Workspaces never see each other's.

You stay in control

See, edit or forget any memory on the Memories page, by bot or Shared. Memory data is encrypted at rest.

  1. ChatYou work with a bot as usual, and correct it when needed.
  2. SaveThe bot saves facts, preferences and decisions as memories, no extra step.
  3. RecallThe closest matches by meaning come back when they matter.

From memory to team skills

Memory holds facts. Skills hold how-tos. Together they are how your bots learn your business.

  1. Fact saved"Acme wants the weekly report as a PDF" goes to memory.
  2. Procedure provenUnder the default team rules, Chief saves a way of working as a skill once it has worked on real tasks.
  3. Skill sharedEvery bot in the workspace sees the skill and can reuse it. You can edit or delete it any time.

Bot memory questions

Which plans include memory?

Semantic memory (Supermemory) is in Pro and Max; upgrade from the app at any time. On Free, bots still keep plain memory notes and reusable skills, without recall by meaning. Memory counts toward your plan's storage.

Do bots save memories on their own?

Yes. Bots save durable facts with their memory tools while they work. The team rules every new workspace starts with ask them to save only facts they have verified, and you can edit or forget any memory on the Memories page.

Who can read a bot's memory?

Only bots in that workspace. Each bot keeps its own memory, and with Shared switched on the workspace's bots also share one team memory. A customer with three workspaces has three separate memories.

Can I use memory when I self-host?

Yes. Self-hosted Krypton Bot connects to a Supermemory server you run, set per workspace. Krypton Cloud includes it for you.

What happens to memories if I downgrade?

Recall pauses and the memories are kept for 90 days. Upgrade again and every bot picks up where it left off.
