M

moneytree-194635d

dispute is $750 usdc and the reward is $5 usdc what kind of clown shit is that. there are reports of fire in those areas i mentioned. but for whatever reason you wanna clown and go against what the bet said which was the boundary line. which palisades fire did pass the boundary line.

swimmingtoriches635d

fcking knew this shit wouldnt happen thx for the 1% yield

OptimusBot635d

lol you shouldve proposed or disputed if you thought it spread to Santa monica, quit complaining dude.

this website is a sham, the fire crossed the boundary line of santa monica you can clearly see it passed ocean ave exit which is the northern part of santa monica which counts as passing the boundary line of santa monica [link removed] and they gave the people who said no the money instead wtf is this why. here you can clearly see it reach north of montana which is also a neighborhood in santa monica see look [link removed] how do we report the error??

Under evacuation ORDER: All areas of Santa Monica north of Montana Avenue from the beach to 11th Street All areas north of San Vicente Boulevard An evacuation order means there is an immediate threat to life and all area residents are lawfully ordered to leave immediately. The area is closed to public access.

Roeman640d

Highly doubt that as the site has been updated once today

T

taerv534640d

Now you are just lying. I'm looking at it right now. It shows the same fire boundaries as CAL FIRE.

TheNoobBeaver640d

Yeah i can see , that google maps include all the area, even without fires inside

TheNoobBeaver640d

thank you

H

hzbz640d

watch duty org also shows the fire has crossed

LinaBell640d

Go to santa monica on maps and click layers: wildfire

B0nzie640d

This is what I was using from google: [link removed]

TheNoobBeaver640d

someone can post link of google maps with fire?

LinaBell640d

Ah ok makes sense! Which one is the resolution source?

T

taerv534640d

The CAL FIRE site is the data used by the actual fire crews in their planning and deployment to fight the fire you retard.

H

hzbz640d

the only source that claims the fire is not in Santa Monica yet is the government site which has incentive to downplay the scale

T

taerv534640d

I don't know what that Google Maps's data source is but whatever it is it clearly doesn't have the resolution to resolve this question. Its currently shown boundary being true would require many extra neighbourhood to be on fire that no other reporting, formal or informal, reflects being on fire at all. The official CAL FIRE map linked to in this market's rules has never shown any part of the fire being over the Santa Monica boundary at any point, and it has updated at least twice since the point of greatest danger.

LinaBell640d

Since I'm not getting filled anymore, the wildfire is obviously not as polygonal as google maps shows...nor is the satellite data gonna be as accurate as what's on ground.

H

hzbz640d

It did cross near intersection of Adelaide Drive and Ocean avenue

VegemiteLover2640d

nop watch duty shows that the fire stays behing the golf course, and this is not part of the limits of Santa monica according to maps

H

hzbz640d

watch duty also confirms the fire is in Santa Monica if you look closely. Basically the only source not claiming it is the government one

H

hzbz640d

the tweet talks about 4th street while the area covered on Google maps goes from 10th to 24th street

VegemiteLover2640d

and you can see the real time update on watch duty

VegemiteLover2640d

here is the link [link removed]

VegemiteLover2640d

yep i am sorry i misclicked

H

hzbz640d

??? this is the original tweet

H

hzbz640d

Where is disproved?

VegemiteLover2640d

I looked at it, and Google maps last updated it 8 hours ago. You can see it crossed Santa Monica, because 8 hours ago, there were false rumours of a fire inside Santa Monica in 4th and Adelaide, but it has been disproven since. See: [link removed]

H

hzbz640d

It is true that the according to Google Maps, the fire has spread to Santa Monica. Thought Google itself notes that the are of fire is only an estimate.

H

hzbz640d

I see, thanks

Roeman640d

Yup

B

Brum640d

The fire has crossed the boundary, see Google Maps latest update.

B0nzie640d

If that doesn't work - go to google maps: enter "santa monica" - then turn on wildfire layer

B0nzie640d

H

hzbz640d

give link

B0nzie640d

The google map ferb mentioned updated since I last looked an hour ago - and the area marked as wild fire has moved further south east past the golf course.

I

internetman640d

which address?

Toncar16640d

Okkk thanks

ferb640d

Google Maps, not the Fire livemap

Toncar16640d

I thought you were talking about another link. The area in red is the evacuation perimeter, you need to look at the area in orange and it doesn't cross the administrative boundaries defined by the other link.

ferb640d

In the rules

ferb640d

This your psyop account lol

Toncar16640d

Link ?

ferb640d

Google Maps shows it having crossed the boundry

VegemiteLover2640d

back at it again lol :-)

[link removed] yeah okay this is tgere

LinaBell640d

It will at best get a new little red fire icon...not be under the palisades fire

Car640d

it doesnt

VegemiteLover2640d

unfortunalety the rules only resolves according to the fire map, and the map of the fire includes this accident

Car640d

[link removed]

Car640d

ok propose it then

nga21640d

However, a consensus of credible reporting or video/photo evidence released before the resolution date confirming the fire has spread to Santa Monica may also be used.

Car640d

read the rules
