This market will resolve to "Yes" if the US government holds any amount of XRP in its reserves at any point between January 15, 2025, ET and December 31, 2025, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No".
Note that the US government confiscating XRP does not count as holding XRP reserves.
The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the US government and/or the US federal reserve, however a consensus of credible reporting will also be used.
Treasury Dept has finished the "accounting phase" for seized assets. While the Bitcoin reserve is the priority, the Clarity Act in Congress might force Ripple to burn or transfer escrow coins to the gov in 2026. Until then, the US XRP balance is "minimal.
BTC maxis always bet against anything XRP. If they could focus their time and effort on promoting crypto the space would be much further ahead. Just need to be patient.

Hopefully today we get clarity on how the Altcoin stockpile looks longer-term. Perhaps they might get use in some Defi protocol to generate income. There has to be a reason for the separation and it doesn't boil down to one coin being better than another. I think it may be based on utility and how the plan to use the time s in the long run. The tribalism is idiotic and we should all be happy that this space has been legitimized.

The Wolf is 100% correct. All that matters to get a "yes" is that XRP is held in a reserve/stockpile. The second paragraph is to clarify that confiscation of XRP doesn't count as being held otherwise this bet would have been an automatic yes as the government has confiscated all types of tokens in the past.

i know what im trading and you dont. There was an Executive Order that said they are creating a sovereign wealth fund. The SOL and other cryptos will obviously be bought through that, because its legally so much easier than an actual reserve managed by the government
