US national Solana reserve in 2025?

This market will resolve to "Yes" if the US government holds any amount of Solana in its reserves at any point between January 15, 2025, ET and December 31, 2025, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". Note that the US government confiscating Solana does not count as holding Solana reserves. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the US government and/or the US federal reserve, however a consensus of credible reporting will also be us

What are you talking about? Bitcoin receives the reserve status and is handled in the same way as other reserve assets, they’re held indefinitely. Sacks also mentioned Bitcoin’s status as digital gold, obviously comparing it to a real reserve asset like gold. All the other altcoins are not put in the same strategic reserve basket, instead they’re put in the digital asset stockpile, where they’re not held indefinitely, and they don’t serve any strategic purpose.

Stockpile = Reserve, the confiscating part only means that what they already have confiscated doesn't count as a reserve. This market is about the establishment of a reserve/stockpile, not how the content was acquired

what rubbish. There is no pushback of anything. Trump would have not stated Solana individually if they had no plans to hold other cryptos. They could have used the word “crypto” in that case. But they chose to explicitly mention few coins they are going to hold. This is a simple yes time decay bet

There was an Executive Order that said they are creating a sovereign wealth fund. The SOL and other cryptos will obviously be bought through that, because its legally so much easier than an actual reserve managed by the government
