This market will resolve to "Yes" if Israel initiates a military action on Iranian soil, airspace, or maritime territory or against any Iranian embassies between September 30, 2024, and October 11, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". For the purposes of this market, a "military action" will be considered to be any use of force executed by Israel on Iranian soil, airspace, or maritime territory (e.g. if a weapons depot on Iranian soil is hit by an Israeli missile, this market will resolve to "Yes") that is officially acknowledged by the Israeli government or a consensus of credible reporting. This includes, but is not limited to, airstrikes, naval attacks, or ground invasions. Cyber attacks, sanctions, or diplomatic actions will not count towards the resolution of this market. In the case that the "Yes" resolution criteria are met prior to this market's resolution date, this market will resolve immediately.

my few thougts on it: 1) People in Israel are getting through very tough times this year, 2 wars and everyday missile attacks 2) Today is Yom Kippur - it's not just the "most holy day", it is fasting day, and its the most important day, in which the fate of the next year is being decied. Also, for not so religious people, its very peaceful day, during which children are riding with bikes and scooters along the roads (cars are prohibited during this day). So in conclusion: the attack was not impossible, but i'd say the chance is about 5%. Thanks and see you on more Middle East markets!

Iran govt was cyber attacked very recently in all 3 major branches. [link removed] On top of this, the US momentarily ago issued new sanctions adding Irans ghost fleet of Oil Tankers they use to deliver oil to countries without an Iranian ID (to avoid sanctions) to the sanctions list. This is likely part of the agreement with israel not to strike Irans Oil infra and instead kill their ability to export on tankers. All hope is not lost, something may happen in 10 hours, but most likely the US is effectively buying time and Israel may wait for a more opportune moment.
