# Google Sheets

The Google Sheets API is a RESTful API that allows programmatic access to spreadsheet data and formatting. It supports CRUD operations, formulas, charts, and collaboration features.

## Tools

- Values append (`GOOGLE_SHEETS__VALUES_APPEND`): Appends values to a spreadsheet. The input range is used to search for existing data and find a 'table' within that range. Values will be appended to the next row of the table, starting from the first column of the table. The caller must specify the spreadsheet ID, range, and a valueInputOption. The valueInputOption only controls how the input data will be added to the sheet (column-wise or row-wise), it does not influence what cell the data starts being written to.
- Values batch update (`GOOGLE_SHEETS__VALUES_BATCH_UPDATE`): Sets values in one or more ranges of a spreadsheet. The caller must specify the spreadsheet ID, a valueInputOption, and one or more ValueRanges.
- Values get (`GOOGLE_SHEETS__VALUES_GET`): Retrieves data from specified range in a spreadsheet
- Values update (`GOOGLE_SHEETS__VALUES_UPDATE`): Sets values in a range of a spreadsheet. The caller must specify the spreadsheet ID, range, and a valueInputOption.
- Spreadsheet create (`GOOGLE_SHEETS__SPREADSHEET_CREATE`): Creates a new spreadsheet with specified properties and sheets

### Which plan includes Google Sheets?

MCP only with 2,000 calls a month, Pro and Max with 20,000. Calls are shared by every catalog app in the workspace. Past the monthly number they keep working from AI credits at $0.90 per 1,000 calls; the count resets on the 1st (UTC) and a retried call counts once.
