## Tools

- List folders (`gmail_list_folders`): List the account's folders and Gmail labels, with their special use.
- List recent (`gmail_list_recent`): The newest messages in a folder (INBOX by default), newest first.
- Mark read (`gmail_mark_read`): Mark messages read.
- Mark unread (`gmail_mark_unread`): Mark messages unread.
- Archive (`gmail_archive`): Archive messages: remove them from the Inbox. They stay in All Mail.
- Create draft (`gmail_create_draft`): Save a draft in Drafts without sending it. Use reply_to to draft a threaded reply.
- Get attachment (`gmail_get_attachment`): Download one attachment (part id from gmail_read_message), up to 10 MB. Returns the file as an embedded resource.
- Label (`gmail_label`): Add or remove Gmail labels on messages, e.g. add ["Clients"] or remove ["\\Important"]. A label that does not exist yet is created.
- Move (`gmail_move`): Move messages to another folder or label (a path from gmail_list_folders).
- Read message (`gmail_read_message`): Read one message: headers, labels, text body (HTML turned into text) and attachment list. Does not mark it read.
- Search (`gmail_search`): Search mail with Gmail search syntax (X-GM-RAW), e.g. `from:anna is:unread newer_than:7d`. Searches All Mail unless `folder` is set. Newest first.
- Send (`gmail_send`): Send an email from the connected Gmail account. Confirm recipients and content with the user first. Use reply_to to answer a message in its thread.
- Trash (`gmail_trash`): Move messages to Trash (Gmail deletes them after 30 days; they can be restored until then). There is no permanent delete.
