The GitLab API allows you to interact with GitLab programmatically, including repository management, merge requests, issues, commits, pipelines, and more.

- Archive project (`GITLAB__ARCHIVE_PROJECT`): Archives a project. Requires administrator access or Owner role on the project.
- Delete project (`GITLAB__DELETE_PROJECT`): Deletes a project including all associated resources. The project is marked for deletion and deleted after 7 days by default. If the project is already marked for deletion, it will be deleted immediately (GitLab 15.11+).
- Restore project (`GITLAB__RESTORE_PROJECT`): Restore a project that is marked for deletion
- Unarchive project (`GITLAB__UNARCHIVE_PROJECT`): Unarchives a project. Requires administrator access or Owner role on the project. This endpoint is idempotent - unarchiving a project that isn't archived doesn't change the project.
- Update file (`GITLAB__UPDATE_FILE`): Updates an existing file in the repository

### Which plan includes GitLab?

MCP only with 2,000 calls a month, Pro and Max with 20,000. Calls are shared by every catalog app in the workspace. Past the monthly number they keep working from AI credits at $0.90 per 1,000 calls; the count resets on the 1st (UTC) and a retried call counts once.
