- Cryptocurrency id map (`COINMARKETCAP__CRYPTOCURRENCY_ID_MAP`): Returns a mapping of all cryptocurrencies to unique CoinMarketCap IDs. This endpoint provides each cryptocurrency's standard identifiers—such as name, symbol, and token_address—for secure identification in your application. By default, it returns cryptocurrencies with actively tracked markets on supported exchanges. You can also retrieve inactive cryptocurrencies by passing listing_status=inactive or registered but untracked cryptocurrencies by passing listing_status=untracked (multiple comma-separated values are allowed). Additional auxiliary fields (such as platform, first_historical_data, last_historical_data, and is_active) can be included via the aux parameter to slim down the payload or provide extra details. Mapping data is updated as needed (approximately every 30 seconds) and this endpoint is available on Basic, Hobbyist, Startup, Standard, Professional, and Enterprise plans. It consumes 1 API call credit per request regardless of query size.

The skip_invalid flag allows the request to bypass validation errors for invalid cryptocurrencies, and the aux parameter can be used to limit or expand the supplemental data fields returned. This endpoint is available on Basic, Startup, Hobbyist, Standard, Professional, and Enterprise plans.
